Rewarding our wonderful Tech volunteers
Annie Mannion | 14 Sep 2023"We have been blown away with the support you have given AbilityNet... you have been amazing!" says Sarah Brain, Free Services Manager at AbilityNet about the wonderful Linda Young, one of our Tech Volunteers in Warwickshire.
To recognise Linda's contribution, we nominated her for the Room to Reward programme for 'Hidden Heroes', and she was successfuly selected! This meant that Linda received a hotel break to say ‘thank you’.
"Wow - what a surprise!! Thank you very much. It's so kind of you to recommend me. I'm just happy to help," said Linda, upon learning of her reward.
Earlier this year, another of our vounteers, Heather Sneddon, also received a special Room to Reward treat for her tireless support of AbilityNet and its clients.
