Our Fee

You will not be personally charged for this assessment. Our fee is paid for by your funding body and the fee charged by this centre for a Needs Assessment is £598.80 (£499.00 + VAT).

Our fee is inclusive of all work required for the duration of your study. If you take a break from studying, start a new course or provide medical evidence to your funding body of an additional disability you may be entitled to a Needs Assessment Review.

On arrival please go to reception and tell them that you're here for AbilityNet or phone through to us (365) using the phone at the desk if the receptionist isn't there. We're on the ground floor in this building and your assessor will come and collect you from reception.

By Bus

Buses 3, 4, 5, 6 and 62 all stop within a few minutes walk of the centre.

Walking directions from Park Avenue (buses 6 and 6a stop here):

  • Walk north-west on New Hampton Rd E towards Park Ave
  • Turn left onto Park Ave
  • Turn left onto Bath Ave
  • Your destination will be on the left 'Regent House'

Walking directions from Molineux Stadium (buses 3, 4, 5, 5a, 62 and 62a stop here):

  • Walk south on Waterloo Rd towards New Hampton Rd E
  • Turn right onto New Hampton Rd E
  • Turn left onto Park Ave
  • Turn left onto Bath Ave
  • Your destination will be on the left 'Regent House'

By Train

Wolverhampton Grand Station (train) and Wolverhampton St George’s station (metro/tram) are both within a 1 mile walk of the centre.

Walking directions from Wolverhampton Grand Station (within a 1 mile walk, approx. 18 minutes):

  • Walk south-west on Sun Street
  • Turn right towards Wednesfield Road/A4124
  • Turn left onto Wednesfield Road/A4124
  • Slight right to stay on Wednesfield Road/A4124
  • Turn right onto Ring Road St Patricks/A4150
  • Turn right onto Bath Ave
  • Your destination will be on the right ‘Regent House’

Walking directions from Wolverhampton St George's, Platform 1, Metro/Tram stop (within a 1 mile walk, approx. 14 minutes):

  • Walk west on Bilston Street towards Market Street
  • Continue onto Dudley Street (towards Primark which is on your left)
  • Slight left to stay on Dudley Street (past Ladbrokes on your left and towards Greggs on your right, follow the curve of Dudley Street past Yorkshire Building Society on the left)
  • You will join Queen street, taking a slight left on this road
  • Continue onto Darlington Street (you will see House of Fraser on your right)
  • Turn right onto Waterloo Road (at this cross road you will see Dixons)
  • Slight left to stay on Waterloo Road
  • Turn left onto Ring Road St Andrews/A4150
  • Turn right on Bath Ave
  • Your destination will be on the right ‘Regent House’

By Car

We recommend that you use online route planning, such as Google Maps, using our postcode: WV1 4EG

There is limited on-road parking and there is pay-as-you-go parking at the WV Leisure Centre which is directly opposite our DSA Centre at Regents House.

Blue Badge parking is also available (subject to availability) in the WV Leisure Centre car park. Please read the car park rules displayed at the entrance for fees and further details.
