Rhianna Kinchin is a commercial technology lawyer at international city law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna. At CMS Rhianna advises companies across a range of industries on technology-related contracts, privacy law and general commercial issues, including advising some global technology clients on their new tech ventures.
Whilst at CMS, Rhianna has had the opportunity to work as a lawyer on secondment to two very different organisations. At The Wellcome Trust, Rhianna gained invaluable experience of working for a large, vibrant charity with activities reaching around the globe, and at RBS, Rhianna negotiated technology contracts for the bank and enjoyed working on innovative fintech projects.
Rhianna graduated from the University of York in 2009 with a degree in History, and whilst at York was a trustee of the University of York Student Union (YUSU). After graduating, Rhianna was elected as a full-time sabbatical officer of YUSU, representing York students to the University to negotiate policy change, and supporting the interests of student societies, charitable fundraising and volunteering projects.
Rhianna took a break from studying and law in 2012, when she travelled and learnt to dive. She is a keen skier, scuba diver and sailor, when she gets the chance to escape the City.
