If you qualify for Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) you will require a Needs Assessment which AbilityNet can provide at our Canterbury DSA centre.
Our experienced team will conduct an assessment with you to identify the specialist support you may require.
Phone: 01926 464 095
You will not be personally charged for this assessment. Our fee is paid for by your funding body and the fee charged by this centre for a Needs Assessment is £598.80 (£499.00 + VAT).
Our fee is inclusive of all work required for the duration of your study. If you take a break from studying, start a new course or provide medical evidence to your funding body of an additional disability you may be entitled to a Needs Assessment Review.

"I was nervous starting the assessment however Adam [the assessor] made sure I was told what was happening and what support I can receive. Adam made sure that I am fully equipped with the hardware and software that I will take to university that will help me with my studies. Thank you very much!" - Michael E.
We’re located upstairs in the Media Centre. Once inside the building, come up the stairs, go through the doors and walk straight down the corridor. Our office is the first on the left, immediately after the lift. If you need lift access, please contact us in advance so that we can arrange to get the lift key.
