David Barnett’s business career was spent entirely in Cazenove, the major City Stockbroking firm. He retired in 2001, having been a Senior Partner and Finance Partner.
He has since become a Trustee or Patron of a number of Charities. They include Charities supporting disabled people, Church of England Charities, a Cancer Charity, and an old people’s Charity. He is also the Chairman of the Trustees of the JPMorgan Cazenove Pension Fund, a Governor of Reed’s School including being Chairman of its Risk Management Committee, and a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths Company and a member of its Investment Committee. He supports many of these and a wide range of other Charities through his own Charitable Trust.
