Julie Howell leaves RNIB

Well known Accessibility Campaigner and public speaker Julie Howell made the announcement this week that she was moving on from her post at the RNIB. She hasn't announced where she will be moving on to at this stage.

Too much accessibility - ACCESSKEYS

One of the worst culprits for creating what I call “too much accessibility” is the ACCESSKEY attribute. Of course, it has its place in the accessible web author’s toolkit, but when implemented without knowing how other keyboard shortcuts work, it can be a positive menace..

The Accessify Accessiblity Tools have been updated

A useful series of tools in a 'wizard' format to help you write accessible code. Essentially you run through the wizard and at the end are presented with HTML (and CSS!) you can cut 'n paste into your document. These tools are an excellent way for those new to the area of accessibility to create basic accessible code.
