A very practical guide to testing against WCAG1.0 and 2.0
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the world standard for website and intranet accessibility. The existing version, 1.0, will be replaced by 2.0 at some stage in the near future.
Unfortunately testing for WCAG compliance can be a challenge. Many areas require experience to ensure the correct interpretation, and though many tools exist to assist in the process which should we use?
We offer our expert interpretation of the guidelines and which tools and techniques can facilitate the testing process. More than that we cover key accessibility issues that are not included in the guidelines and how to test them.
