AbilityNet join the ICT Hub
23 NOVEMBER 2005
AbilityNet are part of the ICT Hub, a group of voluntary sector organisations who have come together to plan and deliver a co-ordinated framework of ICT guidance, good practice, advice and support for voluntary and community organisations, accessible at a local level.
Our aim is to improve voluntary and community sector ICT infrastructure so that voluntary and community organisations are enabled to achieve their missions more efficiently and effectively through the better use of ICT.
AbilityNet are working to improve the accessibility of the voluntary and community sector ICT infrastructure, to help them to make their services more inclusive and productive. Some of the services we will be providing are; advice and information, producing and distributing resources in web accessibility and IT accessibility, delivering training and support, and improving accessibility support available to the sector in the long-term through Regional Accessibility Champions.
