Play AT ICT Northern Ireland funded by the Roald Dahl Foundation
Play AT ICT Northern Ireland aims to build partnerships with the five Education and Library Boards in Northern Ireland (Belfast, North Eastern, South Eastern, Southern and Western), to help ensure Nurseries and Education Professionals have the opportunity to gain further support, training and awareness of Accessible Technology within a Nursery School setting.
This project will provides participating Nurseries, Library and Education Boards with training, a support pack of information to develop further skills, access to a loan bank of assistive technology and remote assessments for nursery age children.
Over the next 2 years we are able to support 50 Nurseries with equipment, assessment, support and training.
"This is true evidence of early intervention which we know is so effective, bringing agencies together nationally, through AbilityNet and locally through local practitioners in education and Health working together." - Charles Clarke MP
