IT Volunteer Awards 2007. Nominations are now OPEN!

iT4 Communities are welcoming nominations for the 2007 IT Volunteer Awards, which aim to recognise and celebrate the best and most innovative examples of IT volunteering.
This year we have 4 categories and the theme of the event is "Working Towards a Better World".
The categories are:
- Best IT Volunteer
- Best IT Volunteering Project - impact on organisations
- Best IT Volunteering Project - innovation
- Best Accessible IT Volunteering Project
The awards recognise outstanding achievement for both volunteers and charities. There are awards for exemplary IT Volunteers, and joint awards for organisations and volunteers who together make IT volunteering projects successful.
The winners will be announced and the awards presented on Thursday 29 November 2007 at the WCIT Hall, London. Charities or community organisations involved with the winning project in each category will receive a cash award of £250.
We invite you to nominate your organisation/charity, your colleagues or even yourself in any of the categories. Please submit your nominations by 6th October 2007.
