Magnification Software

Although we’ve looked at many ways in which you can make the text easier to see in Windows and your favourite programs there are still many people with a vision impairment for whom these changes are not enough.

Although Windows’ Magnifier can magnify your text it is very limited. There are many magnification software programs that can magnify the full screen image many times, as well as being able to impose a user’s colour preferences on programs that do not otherwise let them do so.

Some magnification packages also offer speech output.
