Expert support with remote technology
For the first time we are now using technology to offer expert support to occupational health and other professionals in the workplace, should they wish to assess the needs of an employee in house but wish additional support to do so.
How the process works
- online streaming to make adjustments to settings as required
- use of a web camera to see the workstation and any difficulties with mouse or keyboard control etc to inform advice on possible adaptive and assistive solutions
- equipment or software provided on loan so that it’s suitability can be assessed before it’s bought
- further feedback from AbilityNet consultant as required
