Objectives:
For people with an interest in Assistive Technology, or those required to make reasonable adjustments, it is essential that they understand the new technology and how it can be adapted to meet the needs of people with a variety of needs.
This course investigates how accessibility has been integrated within the new generation operating systems and Office applications, ensuring that your planning will comply fully with the requirements of the DDA and health and safety legislation and well as maximising the free features of the system to reduce costs.

- Using Vista’s speech recognition
- Building blocks within Office 2007
- Using Windows Media Centre
- Accessibility in Internet Explorer
